I am so glad you’re here!

The fact that you’re here means we probably already have a lot in common: we are both passionate teachers who want to grow in our knowledge of ELA strategies and want the absolute best for our students.

Language Arts can truly be the key to a student’s future success in the world. Writing skills, reading fluency, and grammar mastery are what will give our students a platform from which they can create a wildly successful life for themselves.

And I feel a huge responsibility to that calling: preparing readers and writers for the incredible lives that lie ahead of them.

In my first few years as a 5th grade ELA teacher, I found it exceedingly difficult to turn the tide of negativity towards writing and reading in my kids’ minds. My school’s curriculum only offered me worksheet after boring worksheet. My online searches came up mostly dry: the resources I found were all either way too hard for my students, way too easy, or WAY too boring.

I created my TpT store 5 years ago as a way to share resources that truly worked in my classroom; resources my kids actually enjoyed; resources that created amazing results in their learning journeys. I spent countless hours creating almost everything I taught from scratch, and I don‘t want other teachers to have to do that too.

Because at the end of the day, you are an amazing teacher. And if you just have the right resources & strategies, your impact is truly limitless.
